CLUN & NCC MULES

Welcome to Muleflock!

Home of Mule sheep

Our goal is to promote and educate producers to the economic benefits of using a 3-tier system in commercial, foraged based sheep production. The work horse of
this commercial flock is a crossbred ewe commonly referred to in the UK as a 'Mule'.

The flock is based on British genetics from Clun Forest and North Country Cheviot ewes, crossed on the UK's premier crossing sire, the Bluefaced Leicester, to produce the prolific Mule ewe.

The Mules ewes in turn are then bred to a British x New Zealand type Suffolk ram for the production of prime, grass fed finished lamb.
